Brian’s tattoo journey with Russ began over 20 years ago, when Russ created a few pieces on his upper back. After collecting various tattoos from other artists on his arms, left chest, and ribs, Brian chose an ornamental snake design from one of our first One Shot Wall Shows, sparking a renewed era of work with Russ. This led to the completion of his right chest panel, stomach, a massive back piece, and a lighthouse on his thigh.
While not a complete Russ Abbott body suit, Brian’s collection is one of the finest showcases of Russ’s large-scale illustrative tattooing. The upper back includes a cover-up of several pieces Russ originally did for Brian. All work shown here is fully healed and settled, offering a true-to-life view of Russ’s artistry.
