Masked Woman
Artist: David Irizarry (Izzy)
Cristi embarked on a transformative journey with this massive cover-up project. After completing sessions of laser on more challenging areas, the two collaborated on the composition of the tattoo. Using his initial rendering as a guide, Izzy freehanded the mysterious masked woman onto Cristi’s back.
Multiple sessions were dedicated to layering muted colors over the existing ink to conceal them and softening dark patches. Strategic use of white and mid-tone gray shades effectively camouflaged lingering traces, giving it a polished finish. This intricate process demonstrates Izzy’s commitment to achieving a seamless cover-up, turning the previous array of tattoos into a cohesive black and gray masterpiece.
