Michel Parisay: Keepin’ It Classic

Michel Parisay is a solid force in the world of traditional tattooing—and not just because of his clean lines and bold color work. With over a decade in the industry, Michel brings a no-frills, honest approach to tattooing that’s equally welcoming to first-timers and seasoned collectors.

From Upstate to ATL

Michel was born in Albany, NY, but he’s been calling metro Atlanta home since he was 10. He officially got his start in tattooing back in 2013 under the guidance of Craig Foster and joined the Ink & Dagger crew in 2022.

"I didn’t grow up around tattoos, really," he says. "But once my friends and sister started getting tattooed in high school, I was hooked. I got my first one when I turned 18."

A Tattooer’s Tattooer

When it comes to style, Michel keeps things grounded in the roots of tattooing. “Traditional is my main focus—both black and grey and color,” he explains.

"I’m into both patchwork and large-scale work. I like the versatility of being able to knock out multiple tattoos in a single session or really dig into a custom piece that builds over time."

Michel’s work is all about timelessness—bold designs that hold up over the years, without losing impact. If you're someone who appreciates the history and foundation of tattooing but wants something a little personal in the mix, Michel’s your guy.

Creative Fuel

Michel finds inspiration in places you might not expect. "Music’s always been huge for me—punk, alternative, that kind of energy definitely influences how I approach things creatively," he says. He also draws from the natural world, old architecture, and religious imagery.

"There’s something powerful about those visuals—especially when they’re mixed with modern elements. I like finding ways to blend those old-world aesthetics into tattoos that feel current."

The Perfect Match

Michel keeps it simple: "Open to all clients seeking traditional tattooing." Whether you’re walking in for a flash design you’ve been eyeing or looking to start something from scratch, he’s all about creating work that feels right for you. And if you're into knocking out a bunch of tattoos in one session? Even better.

Michel is also an exceptional choice for those seeking an array of small, simple designs whether it’s clean lettering or charming illustrations. His easygoing, collaborative vibe makes him a go-to for projects big and small.

Beyond Tattooing

Outside of the studio, Michel’s a husband, dad, and self-proclaimed nature guy. "I like being outside—hiking, playing golf, watching football. I also love to travel whenever I get the chance." That balance between structured tradition and laid-back curiosity definitely shows up in his tattooing, too.
