Jorell Elie
Meet Jorell Elie, a creative force to be reckoned with. Originally from New York and raised in the sunny suburbs of Los Angeles, Jorell began his tattooing career in 2009. He broke into the industry during his senior year of college when he brought an illustration to Planet Ink that sparked his apprenticeship journey. With a knack for business and a love for art, he helped his mentor open a shop in exchange for his knowledge. Soon he was hitting the road, honing his craft during guest spots across the country before settling in West Hollywood at The Honorable Society Tattoo Shop.
Jorell's dedication and talent caught the eye of Kari Barba, proud owner of Outer Limits Tattoo, the oldest operating tattoo parlor in the United States. She invited him to work at her iconic shop, where he spent five years pushing the boundaries of his art. Jorell opened his own private studio thereafter. Recently, he packed up and moved to Georgia, eager to plant new roots and bring his unique style to Ink & Dagger.
What sets Jorell apart is his distinctive approach to tattooing. He describes himself as a "one-trick pony," but his clients know better. Inspired by watercolor and animation, Jorell's tattoos come to life with vibrant colors and fluid lines. His excellent bedside manner makes each client feel at ease and excited about collecting his artwork.
Outside of the studio, Jorell is a devoted husband and father. An avid foodie, he loves cooking for his loved ones and hosting gatherings in his home. One of his favorite pastimes is golfing since it provides both relaxation and a challenge. Soccer is also a big part of his life, a passion that keeps him grounded and connected to his roots.
Jorell's ideal clients are those who are committed to bringing their tattoo dreams to life. He values honesty, professionalism, and an open mind, creating an environment where clients can learn and grow alongside him.
If you're looking for a tattoo experience that's as unique as you are, Jorell is the artist for you!
